Membership Strategy and Support (50%)
• Establish with clergy, staff and board the membership goals for the synagogue;
• Develop a comprehensive engagement strategy with clergy, program director and executive director with an eye toward member engagement and retention
• Develop and implement data tracking system to analyze engagement trends
• Serve as primary contact for membership inquiries and ongoing member support
• Support new member onboarding processes
• Provide administrative support for member services and inquiries
• Maintain the membership database and support the annual membership renewal process

Hospitality, Lifecycle and Pastoral Support (25%)
• Serve as staff liaison to Hospitality and Punim/Greeters to coordinate these efforts in conjunction with other synagogue programming and activities (e.g. simchas, recruitment events, etc.);
• Lead lifecycle support in conjunction with Hesed committee and hesed functions taken on by the synagogue; shiva minyan leaders, related lifecycle functions.
• Coordinate with lifecycle committee and track Yahrzeits/Shloshim, keeping clergy informed of key dates
• Assign Shabbat and Holiday Honors in collaboration with clergy
• Serve as Liaison to Torah Reading Volunteer and Gabbay – ensure there are readers for shabbat and holidays, keep Gabbay informed of key issues, etc.

Development (15%)
• Assist ED and VP-Development as it relates to engagement – especially donor stewardship support

Other (10%)
• Assist with High Holiday preparation and execution
• Support special services and community programming as needed
• Serve as back up for website updates
